DNA SWAP

The episode begins with a flashback... Mia is overhearing a very heated conversation with Dr. Lorenz and her father. After the argument continues, the father screams at Dr. Lorenz to get out. It was a very awkward situation for Mia, but why was she snooping on the argument? Maybe that is just another point that backs up that she has an obsession with her... As we return to the present, Mia sees Ole working on an experiment. Ole is trying to find a certain body hack that will allow him to breathe underwater. During the class lecture later that day, Dr. Lorenz calls Mia's name out and uses her as an example on how to think outside the box. Was there a reason Lorenz did this in front of the class? Just like always... right after the class Mia follows Lorenz to try and seize the opportunity to be her assistant for the new and coming clinical trials.

And what happened? Mia finally got accepted to be her assistant. She is ecstatic. Though one thing that scares me about this situation is that we don't really know why Mia wants to be apart of these clinical experiments. I believe that some of Mia's ideologies are very scary and could be very dangerous. I don't believe she is trustworthy at this moment. There was a flashback during this episode that led me to believe these types of opinions... the flashback showed that she was in a car wreck... and I believe that Lorenz was the one who hit her, but the woman who hit her took Mia's fathers research and left them both for dead. Which is really screwed up, but it's just an opinion at the moment.

But what really solidified it is that right after the flashback, in the present, Mia receives a text from an anonymous number asking if she has "gotten any new info". Is she working with someone else? What on earth is she doing? This is where the episode gets fishy... Mia goes into work with Dr. Lorenz and finds out that she keeps all of her patients DNA stored in a cold fridge. That also means that she has DNA of Mia from when she was a kid. With that being a massive problem for Mia, she takes a vial when Lorenz wasn't paying attention. When Mia returns back to her apartment she spots Ole surgically operating on himself for the underwater experiment. Bleeding profusely, she helps stitch him up and takes some of those pills that they took in the last episode as a thank you.

In the final minutes of the episode, Mia kisses Jasper. At the tail end of the party Lotta is vomiting all over of the place and Mia takes that as an opportunity to swap Lotta's DNA and use it to pass off as her own. Being a very suspenseful process... it works. Mia doesn't want Dr. Lorenz finding out that she was in that car wreck when she stole her dads work. Dr. Lorenz scans her DNA and she gets passed. Mia gets a keycard to the lab, and the look on her face shows that she is about to do something very bad.
